Student led media at Salford is exciting and dynamic and completed directed by you, our students. If you’re a budding journalist, radio presenter or fancy a career behind the scenes, it’s never been more important to acquire the valuable skills and experience you’ll need to succeed – and your Students’ Union can provide these.

Shock Radio is the Union's award winning radio station. There’s a big team behind making Shock a success each year so have a think about joining them! Opportunities range from sales, marketing and PR to engineering, presenting and station management.

The Salfordian - Student Newspaper
The Salfordian is your FREE student newspaper, available every week across campus.

The newspaper recruits all year - they are always looking for new writers, photographers, proof-readers, cartoonists and more.
