If you're unhappy with the results your school has awarded you, you may want to appeal the decision.
The Students' Union's Advice Centre is always on hand to help with academic appeals.
It's within every students' rights to appeal against the decision of the Board of Examiners, but you must have grounds of appeal to do this. You can't take action just because you disagree with the mark given to you.
Our friendly advisors can give you the advice and support to guide you through the process. The Advice Centre has also produced a pack which includes guidance notes and a draft letter to help you on your way.
If you want to talk to someone about academic appeals, please make an appointment or drop in to see us. Please note you only have 10 days to submit your appeal, so we recommend you contact us as soon as you can. You can reach the Advice Centre on 0161 351 5400 or email: mailto:advicecentre-ussu@salford.ac.uk
We're open 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, and on Fridays we're open until 12.30pm.
