iCycle Salford Launch

Cheaper than the bus, good for your health and the quickest way around Salford!

This Thursday will see the launch of iCycle Salford, a brand new university based bike rental business, run by students for students. Come to University House between 11am and 3pm to find out more about the scheme.

Based in the Students’ Union in University House, this new venture has been set up by the Students’ Union’s SIFE society and aims to provide low cost sustainable bicycle hire to University students and staff.

Bikes are available to hire for as little as £4.50 a week, complete with lights, a lock, and a full year maintenance package. On top of that, you get to attend a free maintenance class run by iCycle Salford, free cycle training, and a free 10% discount voucher to use at Cycles Recycled.

iCycle Salford is open to everyone, and there are various options to choose from. Rent either a brand new bike or a refurbished one; and if you subscribe to a year of iCycle Salford, you get a 25% discount.

The launch of iCycle Salford will be on campus this Thursday outside University House, from 11am-3pm.
