International Students
As an international student studying at University there are many things that you will have to deal with, these may include getting to grips with:
It’s important that you read your student handbook given to you at your induction so that you are clear about what is expected of you as part of your course. If you don't have a copy of this or you missed the induction contact your tutor.
The Students' Union Advice Centre is able to represent and support international students who are experiencing difficulties whilst at University. In particular, if you are experiencing financial difficulties associated with your fees, on academic related issues (e.g. unfair means), or life at University meeting your expectations.
The Students' Union Advice Centre has a range of experience of supporting international students so please get in touch.
The University of Salford Students’ Union has enjoyed a long association with the International Society. The Society is an independent, not-for-profit organisation unique to the city of Manchester. It aims to provide international students with a warm and friendly welcome when they arrive and to make their time in the UK a wonderful experience. Find out more by clicking here
