Recycling
The University of Salford is committed to recycling as much of its waste as is practicable, and currently has available recycling for the following materials:
Office paper
· Including envelopes and thin card, some coloured paper, newspapers, greetings cards, magazines, catalogues etc.
· Bins are located in and around all buildings.
· Special large scale removals can be arranged along with arrangements for books, files, lever arch files and other such materials by calling the Estates Facilities Management Helpdesk on 295 3091.
· Please also ring this number for information about confidential waste paper disposal.
Thick and corrugated card
· See your caretaker regarding collection in your building.
Glass and plastic bottles and containers and drinks cans
· There are collection bins in most catering outlets and outside at Horlock Court.
· Arrangements can be made to collect them directly from your office/kitchen.
Scrap timber and metal

Mobile phones
· Collection point at Clifford Whitworth with proceeds going to Kidscan
Printer and toner cartridges
