► Events

Each year the Students' Union is holding a series of events and meetings to ensure that students have an opportunity to review, scrutinise and decide on the way the Union and operates how it can represent you more effectively.

The best way for us to find out what students want is by getting out there and talking to students face to face as often as we can. Our Sabbatical Officers will be approaching students on a weekly basis talking and listening to your problems, suggestions and comments on anything that is affecting your life as a student.

The Sabbatical Officers that can be found in each Faculty are:

In order to get as much feedback from you as possible we have put in place the following democratic activities.

AGM - Annual General Meeting
Takes place once a year and is an opportunity for ALL students to scrutinise and review what the Union has been doing for the last year.
You Decide
Takes place 4 times a year and students can come along and decide on the action that the Union needs to take on the current issues that affect them.
Collectives
They can be described more as action groups for students to get involved in a voluntary basis and work on projects that aim to take action on issues and help improve students' experience at the University.
