Student Liaison Representative Vacancy 1011
We are looking for students who are interested in being a representative to help enhance the student experience…Could this be you?
The Student Representation System allows students to have a voice on the issues which affect their teaching and learning experience. As part of this system there is a Student Liaison Representatives (SLR) scheme. This is a tier of reps in each of the schools who work closely with the student representatives, Students’ Union and the University. There are a variety of tasks involved in the role and lots of opportunities and benefits which require more commitment than being a student rep, and are therefore paid positions!

The Student Representation System allows students to have a voice on the issues which affect their teaching and learning experience.
As a Student Representative you play a vital role within the University and in your own education. Not only are you having a say into the way that your programme is run, but you are also gaining excellent skills that employers look for in graduates, such as communication, diplomacy and problem solving. This is a volunteer position and as part of the role you will attend training, take part in 2-3 Staff Student Committee Meetings over the course of the year and communicate with your peers.
