The University of Salford Students' Union is committed to the development of sporting excellence amongst its students.
The annual excellence fund is available from the Students' Union to support Elite Athletes. This financial support can help to fund coaching fees, travel expenses, competition entry, clothing and equipment.
Elite Athletes are also able to access support from highly qualified and experienced staff in the School of Health, Sport and Rehabilitation Sciences. Sports Science support aims to help athletes enhance performance and achieve their potential through applying scientific principles to training and the evaluation of performance
You must be enrolled on a full or part-time course at the University and competing at a national or international level or have the potential to do so to be eligible for excellence funding.
