Student Activity groups important information

• Week commencing 23rd January - Training/meetings commence/ BUCS Fixtures start
• Monday 6th February – Colours nominations and Budget application forms released

Colours are awarded to 3rd Year Graduating Students.

Budgets can be requested for the following academic year by submitting a Budget application

• Friday 2nd March – Colours nominations Deadline
• Monday 5th March – Students’ Union Annual Nominations open

Club of the year/Society of the Year/Personality of the Year etc

• Friday 16th March – Budget Application Deadline
• Wednesday 21st March – Budget Presentations

Any group requesting £150 or more will need to produce a Budget Presentation

• Friday 23rd March – Students’ Union Annual nomination Deadline
• Week Commencing 26th March – Training Ends Allerton/Irwell/Sports Hall
• Wednesday 28th March – Students’ Union Annual Awards Panel
• Wednesday 2nd May – Students’ Union Annual Awards

We will also be looking for volunteers to sit on both the Students’ Union Annual award panel (Where it will be decided who will win what award at the Annaul Awards) and volunteers to sit on the Budget Panel (Watch and Deliberate on Student groups presentations to decide funding for the next Academic year). If any committee member would like to volunteer to sit on either, please email Student Activities. This will be on a 1st com, 1st served basis.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Please remember that the Development Plans are linked directly to your Funding, those groups who have been in to have a meeting with Tracey and Steph will have 1st preference on funding. A meeting must take place in the 1st Semester and 1 in the 2nd Semester. For those of you who still haven’t booked in a meeting, you have until the Christmas break to do so.
