► Uni Snips Hairdressers

WHY NOT start this semester off with a brand new hairstyle- and who better to complete the look for you than George Best's former hairdresser, who has his own salon in University House.

Ian Burrows is the owner of Salford Uni Snips, and cuts men and womens' hair at extremely competitive prices. Men's cuts start from £6.50 for a back and sides, whilst ladies' cuts are priced from just £13.00.

Ian has been cutting hair for more than 30 years, and has owned his own salon at the University for 13 years. He has trimmed some very famous locks, including George Best's when he was at the height of his fame in the 1970's. Best's former Manchester United team mate Graeme Hogg is also amongst Ian's clients.

Ian, whose salon is located on the first floor of University House, says: "You're definitely getting a high quality haircut when you come to me, and for less than half the price that you'd pay in Manchester. It's great, because my rent is fair so I can pass on the savings to the students and charge very low rates."
