Opening hours have been extended at Clifford Whitworth and Allerton libraries – Clifford Whitworth is open 24/7 during exam time.
Peel park should have more lighting.
The Students’ Union successfully campaigned to increase lighting and make for a safer park.
The University’s campus bus should stop at Eddie Coleman and John Lester Courts more frequently.
The bus now stops there every 30 minutes, after the Students’ Union lobbied the University for change.
You wanted a greener Students’ Union.
We’ve introduced an environmental policy and won a Sound Environmental Impact award last year.
Students should be more involved in the local community.
Our community representation system enables students to volunteer on a range of community projects in Salford.
The Allerton Building shop should be open during the summer vacation.
We’ve extended the shop’s opening hours and it’s now open for an extra month over the summer.
