A Postgraduate Collective is a group of Postgraduate research and taught students who get together to socialise, set up events throughout the year with the opportunity for those interested to campaign on the important issues for Postgraduate students.
There is also the opportunity to be a Salford delegate for the National Union of Student’s Postgraduate.
Please read below for more details on when we're holding the next meeting.
That’s largely down to you. Although it will be organised by the Students’ Union, the idea of the group is that Postgraduate students decide what the collective does. This might be social events or it might be campaigning on Postgraduate issues.
The first meeting will be in Yours Bar (University House) at 5pm on Tuesday 13 October. It will be an opportunity to talk to other Postgraduate students. The first meeting will also be a chance to decide what you want the Postgraduate collective to focus on for the year.
Matt Webber, the Students’ Union President who is also a Postgraduate studying a Masters in Scriptwriting for TV and Radio. Email: president-ussu@salford.ac.uk, or phone 0161 351 5400.
Also feel free to join our Facebook group HERE and invite any of your Postgraduate friends.
